Every year, the American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS) releases data on plastic surgery trends. Central to this is how many of each type of procedure was performed by board-certified plastic surgeons in the year prior.

On March 1st, 2018, the ASPS released the numbers for 2017. In total, 1,790,832 plastic surgery procedures were performed by board-certified surgeons in 2017, a 1% increase over 2016. It is important to note that the ASPS only includes data from surgeons who are certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery, the only certifying board for this particular surgical specialty.

This enables us to fully understand your desires and get a complete picture of your expectations, in turn allowing us to create a customized treatment plan that works to produce a natural look to enhance and complement surrounding features.

At Altos Oaks Plastic Surgery, we offer a full range of breast, body, and facial plastic surgery procedures along with many nonsurgical skin rejuvenation and antiaging treatments. These services can be used alone or in specific combinations to meet the varied needs of each person who walks through our doors.
